HR SPEAKER SERIES ANNOUNCEMENT:

Philadelphia SHRM is sponsoring a free HR Speaker Series designed to provide valuable career information for current or aspiring HR professionals. Whether you are pursuing entry into the profession or looking to solidify your career objectives, this series will help you establish a definitive plan for progression within the field relative to your interests and goals. Participants will also have an opportunity to become part of PSHRM’s Mentoring Program and establish dynamic and meaningful relationships with seasoned HR professionals to support long-term career development. This program is open to current students both bachelor and master level.

The Speaker Series will consist of three successive sessions. Space is limited so register as soon as possible. Interested participants must be pre-registered to attend!

Topic: Navigating Your HR Career

Description: This session will include a discussion on assessing one’s interests in HR and how to utilize available resources to plan and pursue career objectives. Also included is a review of shifting careers into new HR areas and the importance of continuing education and competency building in the field.
