Best Practices: Leveraging Social Networking
to Enhance Recruiting
If you think the bad economy and the high employment rate is going to help your recruitment strategy, think about this; you just had 783 people apply to your job opening. How many resumes do you have to go through before you find someone who is qualified for your position? How will you screen to make sure the candidates you find are right for your organization. Or maybe, you are looking for candidates a specialty or have a “niche” skill. Where do you find the right group of people to connect with to find the ideal employee?
Social networking is not just for fun anymore. Many employers are using social networking sites, like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and more, to find qualified candidates.
This webinar will focus on using your social networking skills to build a qualified applicant pipeline. We will discuss how recruitment can go from posting and hoping, to relationship development and ensuring the right fit.
This session will include:
- Social Networking – What is it?
- How can I benefit as an employer?
- Developing professional relationships online
- Blogging for success
- Finding Diverse Candidates
Who Should Attend?
All Human Resources Professionals, especially Recruitment Professionals responsible to developing and executing recruitment plans as well as those who want to broaden their knowledge and skills.
